The origins of this magnificent building date back to the 19th century, a time when Maupassant loved to come and relax here.
Claude Valentin and his wife decided to breathe new life into this exceptional place and transform it into a luxury hotel! In 1997, this hotel in Gérardmer had 7 rooms, to which were added the 7 rooms of the extension. In 2020, further renovations increased the capacity to 5 suites and 14 rooms.
Since its inception, we have opened our doors to you with the same passion, in the pure tradition of Vosges hospitality. Today, it's up to you to continue writing the story of Manoir au Lac by visiting us, dining in our restaurant, enjoying our 4-star services, and appreciating our genuine hospitality!
